Why this site came about
I had decided a long time ago that I would like to record the things that I enjoy, with the aim of continuing purposeful learning of the various things I distract myself creating. The internet has allowed for millions of people, all around the world, to share in a similar fashion, but it didn't feel appropriate for what I wanted to create. So I decided to develop my knowledge of website creation. This was the first result. An internet portal to my mother's artwork.
I realised that I wanted to create something similar for myself, but it's taken a rather long time to figure out what exactly I wanted a website for, what purpose it would fulfil. I enjoy sharing knowledge, experience and creativity. I believe that learning should be accessible to all and that sharing knowledge can help to create passion in driven individuals. I will endeavour to let those aspects shine through, while also encouraging an exchange of ideas, discussion and information.
There will probably not be a great deal of coherence between the various subjects for quite some time as I'm not a web-designer and I do have a full-time job which fills up a considerable portion of my days. However, I hope to create a submission board soon through which you can drop your articles for publications - that should provide a bit of reading and room for debate!
